2 on a Panasonic GH1 - I can definitely say that the Zeiss IS the best lens I have ever used - but so is the Nikon! It was an absolute tie. Annoying half-stops make it difficult to impossible to set aperture by feel, also makes it had to set third stops (as light meters read). Colors is typically for Zeiss'es with T* coating. The 50mm Zeiss makes you feel like an artist photographer. 4 released to a lot of fanfare, and deservedly so, as they are superb optical instruments.
Focal Range Carl Zeiss Planar T1,4/50 has a fixed focal lenght of 50mm. I owned many cameras and lenses through the years and the Planar is by far the best lens I ever used.
